Title:

Preparation method of high critical temperature ceramic superconductors.

Inventors: (Celani, Messi, Pace, Sparvieri) Registration: Europe, United States, Japan 1988 Joint ownership with Selenia S.p.A. and Consorzio INFM.
Abstract:

Innovative method for the production of high-temperature superconductors cuprate-like of the peroskite type. The process is based on the  ozone injection (instead of oxygen), during processes of calcination and synthetization from room temperature up to 1000°C   and on the subsequent process of a  slow cooling down. The "Alenia Marconi Systems S.p.A." still exploits and owns the patent's property.

Title:

Method for the setting down of superconductors films of niobium on resonant cavities for quarter-wave heavy-ions accelerators.

Inventors: (Palmieri, Preciso, Ruzinov) Registration: Europe, United States, Japan - 1991
Abstract:

Method for fabricating superconductive accelerating cavities by coating copper cavities by a thin film of niobium deposited by the sputtering technique. Film coated cavities have reduced costs and improved merit factors and accelerating fields, if compared to conventional bulk niobium cavities.

Titolo:

Method for the production of canalized, compound, lead bars or other alloys.

Inventori: (Prato, Biava, De Salvo, Livan, Iuvino) Registration: Italy by way of CONFERMETAL based on a convention with INFN - 1991
Abstract:

Method for the fabrication of modules for scintillating optical fibre calorimeters based on the extrusion of lead straps on which, by electroplating, an eutectic alloy is deposited.

Title:

Method for the manufacturing, by spinning of seamless concave resonant cavities by radio frequency for electrons acceleration.

Inventors: (Palmieri, Preciso, Ruzinov, Yu Stark, Koulik) Registration: Europe, United States, Japan - 1993
Abstract:

Technique for the manufacturing  of seamless concave resonant cavities for electrons acceleration able to allow a cut in the production costs and the optimization of the inner surface quality, therefore of the cavity performances.

Title:

Procedure for the preparation of thin films of polymers on different stands and device for its realization.

Inventors: (Carturan, Pieri, Della Mea) Registration: Europe - 1996
Abstract:

Technique for the deposition of thin polymer films onto bulk substrates of different kind, usable for the protection of metallic devices, and for microelectronics and electrostatic applications.

Title:

Detector of Energy and Incidence position for electromagnetic radiation or for controlled drift ionizing particles

Inventors: (Castoldi, Gatti, Guazzoni, Longoni, Struder, Rehak) Registration: Italy, Europe, USA -  1997
Abstract:

Semiconductor detector of energy and incident position for X and d  rays or particles,  called: Controlled Drift Device. It guarantees better energy resolution and an image read-out time of 2 orders of magnitude lower whenever compared to a CCD detector. Moreover it enables the 2D measurement of incidence position of X- d Rays, it minimizes the number of output channels. The first prototype has still to be prepared, hence the expected performances have still to be verified.

Title:

Pseudospherical Step diffractor

Inventors: (Marcelli, Soldatov, Mazuritsky) Registration: Europe, Japan, USA - 1997
Abstract:

Device based on the use of diffractive elements (crystal-lattice layed onto different spherical surfacies of variable radius called Pseudospherical step diffractor . At the same energetical resolution it enables the focalization of intense beams of electromagnetic radiaction with a gain in transmitted flux that is proportional to the step number.  Tests on prototype are under development. Contacts with the French firm CAMECA are also in progrees for possible industrial application.

Title:

Optimized a irradiation source

Inventors: (Pappalardo, Marchetta, De Sanoit) Registration: France by convention with the  Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique - 1998
Abstract:

Preparation of a measurement head composed of an a particles source connected to a fluorescence X-ray detector. The PIXE technique is the most suitable one for the analisys of pictorial pigments and superficial patina.
