LNL: RICCARDO ORLANDI, LOW-LYING NEUTRON STATES ABOVE THE N=50 SHELL GAP STUDIED VIA 78ZN(D,P) REACTION AT REX-ISOLDE

Neutron-rich nuclei with magic numbers of neutrons and protons constitute an essential reference to understand and predict the reorganization of shell structure away from the line of beta stability. In this work, single-particle states in 79Zn were populated at REX-Isolde, CERN, via the 78Zn(d,p) reaction, in inverse kinematics. The reaction was studied experimentally with the T-REX segmented silicon array and the Miniball array, used respectively for the detection of scattered protons and prompt gamma-rays. The coincident detection of protons and gamma rays permits to select the protons-angular distributions of low-lying states in 79Zn, the N=51 isotone closest to 78Ni. The latest advances in the analysis and preliminary results will be presented, together with proposed experiments with 70Ni and 80Zn.
