LNF: FINAL FOCUS SYSTEMS FOR CLIC @ 3 TEV AND 500 GEV C.O.M. ENERGY
LABORATORI NAZIONALI DI FRASCATI
Speaker: Hector Garcia Morales The next generation of linear lepton colliders require very small beam sizes at the Interaction Point (IP) in order to achieve enough luminosity to reveal very rare processes. The Final Focus System (FFS) is the responsible of the beam demagnification and the correction of the nonlinearities that appear because of such strong focalization. In this seminar I will explore the different FFS schemes for CLIC at 3 TeV and 500 GeV center of mass energy including nonlinear correction, luminosity performance and tuneability after the introduction of realistic imperfections. I will also do short excursion on the latest results obtained in ATF2 Final Focus Test line.
