LABORATORI NAZIONALI DEL GRAN SASSO
DarkSide-50 is a dark-matter detector designed to be background free thanks to the accurate choice of the constructive materials, the active muon and neutron vetos and thanks to the intrinsic particle identification properties of the argon time projection chamber. The experiment started data taking in October 2013 and already reached an exposition of 1600 kg day. In the seminar some preliminary results will be presented based on a data set of 6.5 live days corresponding to about 3 years of 39Ar events with underground argon. Then the seminar will focus on the electronic read-out developed by the LNGS group.
