RM3: D. STRAUB (TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITAT MUNCHEN), STATUS & PROSPECTS OF NEW PHYSICS IN B→S TRANSITIONS
SEZIONE DI ROMA III
Decays based on the flavour-changing neutral current b→s transition are strongly suppressed in the Standard Model and thus sensitive to contributions from physics beyond the Standard Model. In several of these processes, experiments have observed tensions with Standard Model expectations in recent years. I will review the status of these tensions and discuss possible explanations both within and beyond the Standard Model, as well as opportunities for clarifying them in the future.
