LABORATORI NAZIONALI DEL GRAN SASSO
A brief introduction to the INFN scientific computing activities will be given. We will provide an overview of the major services and tools recently developed, in particular in the context of the INDIGO-DataCloud EU project, focusing on software components for building enabling services. We will then provide a comprehensive description of the Dynamic On Demand Analysis Cluster (DODAS) application as a concrete show case of Platform as a Service solution being exploited by scientific communities. In addition to the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) experience and the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) use case, we will briefly address the applicability of the presented components in typical computing scenario within scientific experiments. Finally we will give some highlights on the future directions in the scope of European Open Science Cloud. --- D. Spiga INFN Perugia
