National Laboratories of Frascati of the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics (Infn), in cooperation with the town of Frascati will present on October 30th, 2003 the “3rd meeting with Science”, presided by professor Antonino Zichichi. The professor will be also conferred the freedom of the city of the roman town.
The meeting will begin at 5.00 p.m. by the Capocroce theatre of Frascati (Piazzale Capocroce).

In occasion of the “3rd meeting with Science” professor Zichichi will take a conference entitled “The bound of Modern Science”, he will answer the questions of the audience and will preside the prize-giving of the competition “Scienza per tutti” (Science for everybody).
The competition is part of a project of scientific communication born with the aim of bringing students and curious persons of science close to the extraordinary challenges of modern physics. In this context a website has been also developed, http://scienzapertutti.lnf.infn.it that illustrates in a simple way the new bounds of science and technology. The competition is whereas addressed to students and teachers of secondary and high school, who participate with scientific communication projects.
“The website Scienzapertutti (Scienceforeverybody) was inaugurated last year”, explains Franco Luigi Fabbri, physicist of the National Laboratories of Frascati, author and promoter of the website, “our aim was not only communicating some key subject of modern physics with a simple language, but above all conveying to the not specialized audience the research adventure spirit and pathos. In short, we wanted to create a stimulating game between exploration and curiosity. On the whole we are satisfied with this operation: the website has had up today hundreds oh thousands visitors and it is so amusing to stimulate hundreds teen-agers to take part in the competitions of Scienzapertutti (Scienceforeverybody)”!
